What's New in History Study Center
The latest release of History Study Center includes new and updated Study Units.
Study Units
There are two new Study Units in this release:
- Scotland, 1837-1914
- Post-Communist Russia, 1991-
Many other Study Units have been updated with new journal articles and other content. Sourcebooks including Chadwyck-Healey Selections from Historical Newspapers and Chadwyck -Healey Historical Documents have been updated with additional documents selected for this release.
Content removals
The following full text journals have been removed due to the termination of the license agreement with their publisher, Oxford University Press:

- British Journal of Criminology
- Cambridge Journal of Economics
- Early Music
- English Historical Review
- French History
- Greece & Rome
- History Workshop Journal
- Holocaust and Genocide Studies
- Journal of Communication
- Journal of the History of Medicine and Allied Sciences
- Journal of Theological Studies
- Oxford Art Journal
- Parliamentary Affairs
- Past & Present
- Public Opinion Quarterly
- Twentieth Century British History
Articles selected for Study Units have also been removed from these and a small number of additional journals.
The following reference books have also been removed in this release due to the termination of agreements, in some cases because no new editions were planned and content was becoming out of date.
- Encyclopedia of Historians & Historical Writing
- International Dictionary of Historic Places (Volume 2: Northern Europe)
- The life stories of undistinguished Americans as told by themselves
- Reader's Guide to American History
- The Routledge Historical Atlas of Presidential Elections
